left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP)
Normal < 11 mm Hg. Since the LVEDP is the same as the left atrial pressure, the LVEDP may be measured by pulmonary capillary wedge pressure.
Elevated in: aortic insufficiency
The diastolic blood pressure:LVEDP gradient provides the force for coronary artery flow to the left ventricle from epicardium to endocardium.
