Indications: - bacterial infections due to susceptible organisms - urinary tract infection (UTI) - mild lower respiratory tract infection caused by: - Haemophilus influenzae - Moraxella catarrhalis - NOT Streptococcus pneumoniae - prophylaxis for perioperative infection - prostate biopsy - genitourinary surgery [3] Dosage: 400 PO BID. Tabs: 400 mg.
