ritlecitinib (Litfulo)

Indications: - treatment of alopecia areata in adults & adolecents >= 12 years Contraindications: - use in combination with other JAK inhibitors, immunosuppressants, cyclosporine, biologic immunmodulators - rheumatoid arthritis (highe mortality vs TNF-alpha inhibitor) Dosage: - 50 mg orally once daily. Adverse effects: - venous thromboembolism - pulmonary embolism - arterial thromboembolism - headache, diarrhea, acne, rash, urticaria, folliculitis, pyrexia - atopic dermatitis, dizziness, increased serum creatine phosphokinase, herpes zoster, anemia, stomatitis * Warnings: - serious infection, malignancy, major cardiovascular events, thrombosis, death
