Origin: left main coronary artery Branches: 1) septal perforators 2) diagonal branches Distribution: 1) interventricular septum, anterior 2/3 (septal perforators) -> includes AV bundle of His 2) anterior free wall of the left ventricle (diagonal branches) Anastomosis: posterior interventricular artery Course: -> descends towards the cardiac apex over the anterior portion of the interventricular septum.
