A solid-textured material used in gloves & other barriers consisting of emulsion or suspension of microscopic globules of natural rubber. It is produced by some seed plants, including Brazilian rubber tree.
Latex is present in:
- carpet backing
- toys
- balloons
- chewing gum
- condoms
- belts
- undergarments
- sports equipment
Latex is NOT in Latex paint
