Features:
1) phonology: sound structure of language
2) syntax: architecture of sentences, clauses & phrases
3) morphology: formation of words through binding of affixes
4) semantics: meaning of words
Notes:

- turn-taking language interactions with toddlers age 18-24 months associated with higher IQ & language scores through middle-school [1]
