2) blocked by dihydropyridines (DHP), phenylalkylamines, benzothiazepines, & by omega-agatoxin-IIIA (omega-Aga-IIIA)
3) insensitive to omega-conotoxin-GVIA (omega-CTx-GVIA) & omega-agatoxin-IVA (omega-Aga-IVA)
