iPLEDGE

A mandatory distribution program in the United States for isotretinoin, intended to prevent use during pregnancy due to the high risk of birth defects. As of March 1, 2006, patients & their doctors & pharmacists are required by the FDA to register & use the iPLEDGE website [2] in order to receive isotretinoin.
