intermediolateral column

The autonomic zone of spinal cord grey matter forming the lateral horn of the spinal cord from T1-L2. Efferents: - the autonomic neurons in the intermediolateral column project preganglionic nerve fibers (cholinergic*) to the paravertebral sympathetic ganglion. * All fibers coming out of the central nervous system are cholinergic.
