Indications:
- assessment of insulinoma
Clinical significance:
- C-peptide, endogenously produced along with insulin is normally suppressed by administration of exogenous insulin (that does not contain C-peptide)
Notes:
- CPT includes (x 5) for serum glucose serum C-peptide (5 specimens ?)
