hyphema (anterior chamber hemorrhage)

- blood in anterior chamber of eye [1] - a collection of blood between the cornea & iris [2] Clinical manifestations: - blood covers part of the iris & occasionally the pupil [2] Differential diagnosis: - post-traumatic iritis - may develop 2-3 days after injury - eye pain, photophobia, blurry vision, miosis
