hilar lymphadenopathy
Enlarged hilar lymph nodes.
Etiology:
1) sarcoidosis
2) primary pulmonary tuberculosis
3) fungus diseases of the lung
4) infectious mononucleosis
5) lymphoma - Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
6) metastases to hilar lymph nodes
Special laboratory:
- endobronchial ultrasound with endoscopic biospy [2]
Management:
- observation for hilar lymphadenopathy due to sarcoidosis [2]
