Etiology:
- e-cigarette use, vaping of marijuana
- seen in workers exposed to hard metals
Epidemiology:
- cobalt found in vaping e-liquid* [1]

Pathology:
- fibrosis & multinucleated giant cells within alveolar spaces
Management:
- mycophenolate mofetil for 3 months followed by prednisone* [1]
- prognosis: recovery may be only partial
