Epidemiology: rare Pathology: - chondrodystrophy - marked disorganization of chondro-osseous calcification Genetics: - autosomal recessive - associated with defects in LBR Clinical manifestations: - early in utero lethality, nonviable fetus - fetus typically presents with fetal hydrops, short-limbed dwarfism - fetus may present with polydactyly & additional nonskeletal malformations
