gadobutrol (Gadavist)

Indications: - for use in conjunction with magnetic resonance angiography for evaulation of supra-aortic or renal artery disease Dosage: - 0.1 mL/kg IV - flush line with normal saline to ensure complete administration of contrast Mechanism of action: - leads to shortening of proton relaxation times in plasma & may improve tissue visualization
