Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma (FAST); Focused Multiorgan Bedside Ultrasound

Indications: - routinely used in the evaluation of trauma patients - useful in patients with nontraumatic hypotension - use in the emergency department for children with blunt abdominal trauma doesn't seem to improve clinical care or lower costs [2]
