Indications: - primary assessment used to determine obstructive lung disease Interpretation: - FEV1/FVC < 0.7 is consistent with obstuctive lung disease* - FEV1/FVC > 0.75 is consistent with normal lung fucntion or restrictive lung disease * * FEV1/FVC is decreased in most but not all patients with chronic bronchitis [2]
