Indications:
- used in combination with praziquantel & pyrantel for cestodes
Pharmacokinetics:
- metabolized in the liver to fenbendazole, oxfendazole, oxfendazole sulphone & at least 7 other metabolites
Mechanism of action:
- binds to tubulin subunit & interferes with microtubule formation
