extraosseous osteogenic sarcoma

Epidemiology: - most over 50 years old Pathology: 1) high grade sarcoma 2) defined by production of malignant osteoid 3) not attached to skeleton 4) most occur in extremities - also breast, retroperitoneum, bladder, other visceral organs Differential diagnosis: - resembles malignant fibrous histiocytoma
