Muscle of posterior compartment of forearm. Origin: lateral epicondyle of humerus Insertion: -> by 4 tendons into the base of the proximal, middle & distal phalanges Action: -> extends fingers, especially at the metacarpophalangeal joint Innervation: radial nerve (posterior interosseous nerve)
