Procedure:
- opening of the small intestine through the abdominal wall to the exterior surface of the abdomen creating a stoma
Complications:
- pyoderma gangrenosum at enterostomy site in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease)
