Eagle syndrome

Etiology: - compression of the carotid artery by an elongated styloid process or stylohyoid ligament calcification Clinical manifestations: 1) sore throat 2) earache 3) neck pain on swallowing Differential diagnosis: - clicking larynx - triticeal cartilage - hyoid bone syndrome Management: - surgical excision
