diagnostic criteria for migraine without aura
Diagnostic criteria:
1) at least 5 attacks fulfilling other criteria
2) headache attacks lasting 4-72 hours, untreated or treated unsuccessfully
3) headache with at least 2 of the following characteristics
a) unilateral
b) pulsating
c) moderate-severe pain
d) aggravation by or resulting in avoidance of routine physical activity
4) at least 1 of the following characteristics during headache
1) nausea &/or vomiting
2) photophobia & phonophobia
5) not attributed to another disorder
