dextromethorphan/guaifenesin (Robitussin DM, Naldecon Dx)

Indications: expectorant & antitussive Dosage: - 10 mL every 4 hours. - 5 mL/dose if 6-12 yo. 2.5 mL/dose if 2-5 yo. Adverse effects: 1) dry mouth 2) GI upset 3) drowsiness 4) with toxic doses a) CNS depression b) respiratory depression
