1) erythrocytapheresis
a) erythrocytosis or polycythemia vera
b) sickle cell disease (erythrocyte exchange)
c) malaria
2) leukocytapheresis
- leukocytosis with leukostasis (acute leukemia)
3) thrombocytapheresis
- symptomatic thrombocytosis [1]
