Etiology:
- progressive corneal thinning
- eye surgery
- postoperative infections
Special laboratory:
- Seidel test
Treatment:
- tissue adhesive can be used to seal small perforation (< 1 mm)
- non-infected corneal perforation generally heals when a pressure bandage is used
- lamellar keratoplasty
