Flurandrenolide Topical (Cordran)

Indications: - relief of inflammatory dermatoses (dermatitis) - allergic dermatitis - atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis [3] - seborrheic dermatitis - dandruff - discoid lupus - granuloma annulare - psoriasis - pruritus, anal pruritus - lichen simplex chronicus - alleriges - cutaneous T-cell lymphoma [3] Dosage: - apply BID/TID cream/ointment 0.025% & 0.05% (30g, 60g). Medium potency (0.025%). Adverse effects: - uncommon (< 1%) - burning, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acne, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin atrophy,, striae, miliaria, intracranial hypertension, maceration of skin, suppression of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, Cushing's syndrome, growth retardation, secondary infection Mechanism of action: - anti-inflammatory; topical glucocorticoid class 4, class 5 [4]
