chronic suppurative otitis media
Etiology:
1) central tympanic membrane perforation
2) peripheral tympanic membrane perforation
- may be associated with cholesteoma
Clinical manifestations:
1) diminished hearing, conductive hearing loss
2) ear discharge
3) NO otalgia (earache)
Management:
- referral to otolaryngologist for evaluation & treatment
