Clinical manifestations: 1) a young woman with history of migraines has chest pain with ST segment depression suggests coronary vasospasm 2) a young person with chest pain following a 'party' suggests cocaine toxicity (do not treat with beta blockers) 3) a tall, thin person with long arms has chest pain with a new diastolic murmur consistent with aortic insufficiency suggests Marfan's syndrome & aortic dissection 4) a young person with onset of chest pain during exercise suggests pneumothorax 5) a young person has sharp or pleuritic chest pain with a a normal or nonspecific ECG suggest pulmonary embolism
