Indications: - evaluation of: [1] a) atherosclerotic cerebrovascular disease (38%) b) brain tumor (26%) c) subarachnoid hemorrhage (12%) Complications: - neurologic complications (2.63%) [1] a) occur within 24 hours (2.63% of cases b) include - transient ischemic attack (TIA; 2.09%) - reversible deficits lasting more than 24 hours (0.36%) - permanently disabling strokes (0.14%) - death (0.05%)
