BTB domain (Broad-Complex, Tramtrack & Bric a brac or POxvirus & Zinc finger (POZ) domain)

A homodimerization domain at the N-terminus of proteins containing multiple copies of C2H2-type zinc fingers or Kelch repeats. Many BTB proteins are transcriptional regulators thought to act through the control of chromatin structure.
