In dermatology:
- a macroscopic term referring to fluid-filled raised area > 1 cm across; a large blister
- bullae may be tense or flaccid
- may be on a base of normal or erythematous skin

13) porphyria
a) porphyria cutanea tarda
b) porphyria variegata
c) pseudoporphyria
14) bullous dermatosis of hemodialysis
