Bankart lesion

A tear of the anterior glenoid labrum accompanying detachment of the inferior glenohumeral ligament. Epidemiology: - 85% of traumatic anterior shoulder dislocations Pathology: 1) stretching of the anterior capsule from the inferior glenohumeral ligament 2) labrum is pulled from the inferior 1/2 of the anterior rim of the glenoid Radiology: -> MRI of shoulder Management: -> surgery
