Clinical manifestations:
1) flatulence, bloating
2) watery diarrhea
3) abdominal pain
Laboratory:
- hydrogen breath test glucose
Management:
- rifaximin (1st line) [3]
- trial of empiric antibiotics
- Bactrim DS, tetracycline, metronidazole
- ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin clavulanate [3]
