Indications:
- assessment of attention
- evaluation of delirium
- evaluation of short-term memory
Procedure:
- show 5 pictures & ask the patient to remember them
- ask the patient to recall the 5 pictures in a series of 10 pictures shown sequentially
Notes:
- used in the confusion assessment method for the ICU
- does not depend on language
