Pathology:
- unequal curvatures of the cornea or lens of the eye along different meridians such that light from a source does not focus at a single point on the retina
Clinical manifestations:
- visual impairmement
- not associated with red eye, eye pain or photophobia [2]
Management:
- corrective lens eyeglasses [2]
