arterial thoracic outlet syndrome
A rare disorder due to compression of the subclavian artery by a fully formed cervical rib or an abnormal 1st thoracic rib.
Clinical manifestations:
- thrombus formation in the dilated arterial segment
- ischemic muscle pain in the upper limb
