aprepitant (Emend)
Indications:
1) nausea/vomiting due to chemotherapy
2) for use in combination with dexamethasone + ondansetron (or other serotonin 5HT3 receptor antagonist. i.e. palonosetron) [2]
Drug interactions:
1) aprepitant can diminish effectiveness of warfarin & oral contraceptives
2) aprepitant can increase levels of glucocorticoids & midazolam
