b) patient should abstain from anabolic steroids, gemfibrozil, warfarin, heparin, asparaginase, estrogens, gestodene & oral contraceptives for 3 days prior to specimen collection
c) shipping: refrigerated, frozen

f) refrigerated = 3 days
g) frozen = 3 weeks
