Pathology: 1) occlusion of the posterior branch of the left middle cerebral artery 2) ischemic infarction in the left angular gyrus Clinical manifestations: 1) alexia 2) agraphia 3) acalculia 4) anomia 5) visuospatial difficulties Radiology: - CT or MRI may show pathology in the left angular gyrus Differential diagnosis: - may mimick many features of Alzheimer's disease
