AML-M0; acute myeloblastic leukemia minimally differentiated
Epidemiology:
1) ~2% of AML cases
2) usually older men
Microscopic Pathology:
- nongranular myeloblasts, may resemble lymphoblasts
Immunophenotype:
- CD13, CD33, TdT, CD2, CD4, CD7, CD71 positive
- myeloperoxidase variable
- CD14, CD36, CD64 mostly negative
- CD41, CD61, glycophorin A & most lymphocyte antigens negative
