- defect of enamel formation
Genetics:
- autosomal dominant
- associated with defects in ENAM
Clinical manifestations:
- variable
- some cases present with generalized enamel hypoplasia resulting in small, smooth, yellow & spaced teeth
- others show horizontal rows of pits, grooves or a hypoplastic area in the enamel
