Indications: - insufficient evidence to recommend for or against digital tomosynthesis (3-D digital mammography) in women with dense breasts with negative mammogram [4] Procedure: - see digital tomosynthesis Clinical significance: - allegedly higher sensitivity & higher specificity for breast cancer than 2D mammography [2]; however, see indications - arterial calcifications noted on digital mammography are predicted of coronary artery calcification [3]* * article withdrawn at request of author(s) &/or editor
